Enigma Codebreaking

Test your codebreaking skills and find out whether YOU could have helped shorten World War II!

After investigating how Enigma machines were used for code making and code breaking during the war, participants will initially assume the role of naval encryption specialists representing the Axis Powers.

Equipped with a set of tools (including alphabet wheels, binary dice and number cards), try your hand at devising secure codes which you hope will stump the Allied Forces!

Then, step into the shoes of Alan Turing and the legendary codebreakers from Bletchley Park. Using simple, vintage computer hardware to support your quest, you will endeavour to break the enemy’s codes and use the keys to decipher vital messages.
