Manic Miner is a platform video game originally written for the ZX Spectrum by Matthew Smith and released by Bug-Byte in 1983. It is the first game in the Miner Willy series and among the early titles in the platform game genre. It is considered one of the most influential platform games of all time.

Elite is a space trading video game. It was written and developed by David Braben and Ian Bell and originally published by Acornsoft for the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron computers in September 1984. Elite‘s open-ended game model and revolutionary 3D graphics led to it being ported to virtually every contemporary home computer system and earned it a place as a classic and a genre maker in gaming history. 

Lemmings is a puzzle video game originally developed by DMA Design in Dundee, Scotland and published by Psygnosis for the Amiga in 1991. The objective of the game is to guide a group of lemmings through a number of obstacles to a designated exit. Lemmings was one of the best-received video games of the early 1990s and was voted the eighth-greatest game of all time by Next Generation magazine in 1996.

Wipeout is a futuristic racing video game developed and published by Psygnosis. It was originally released in 1995 as a launch title for Sony’s PlayStation console in Europe. Set in 2052, players compete in the F3600 anti-gravity racing league, piloting one of a selection of craft in races on several tracks around the world. Unique at the time, Wipeout was noted for its futuristic setting, weapons designed to both stall and destroy enemy opponents and its inventive marketing campaign
